My first memory of happiness was lying on my belly at kindergarten, sketching princesses in a notebook. Creativity has always been a part of me, yet for many years I pushed it aside under the weight of academic expectations and the belief that becoming an artist was “not practical.” Even when a high school teacher asked if I wanted to pursue art, I convinced myself I wasn’t good enough and that following such a dream would be a burden on my family.

Instead, I built a career helping others, moved overseas, and created a life I was proud of. But the quiet longing to be an artist never left me. After becoming a mother and living through a global pandemic, I could no longer ignore the call. At 46, I chose to be brave, picked up the brush again, and committed to learning everything I needed to stand in my art with confidence.

Today, my paintings are vibrant, layered reflections of authenticity, resilience, and inner strength. They are not just images on a wall, but invitations — reminders to reconnect with ourselves, embrace who we truly are, and carry beauty and courage into everyday life.
